Sirnak University Technology Transfer Office A.Ş. The opening ceremony was held on 15 July at the Congress and Culture Center in 09 April 2019 at 10:00. The opening ceremony, Sirnak Mayor Mehmet YARKA, Rector of Batman University. Dr. Aydın DURMUŞ, Rector of Şırnak University Dr. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin ERKAN, President of Sirnak Chamber of Commerce and Industry Osman Gelisir, Sirnak University academic and administrative staff participated. Protocol speeches at the opening program, Şırnak University Technology and Transfer Office. Presentation, Regional TTO and TGBs, Public University Industry Cooperation, projects prepared by Şırnak University and the amount of support was presented.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin ERKAN expressed that the Technology Transfer Office of Sirnak University also addresses the TRC3 region and Hakkari Province and expressed his gratitude to everyone who worked for Sirnak University.

Sirnak University Technology Transfer Office Director Asaf Tolga ÜLGEN stated that they aim to turn this region into a project production center with a young and dynamic staff in order to strengthen technology-based trade and development in TRC3 region and to leave an innovative footprint to the 21st century in cooperation with university-industry. In addition, dr. Ülgen said, ır Since its establishment, ŞırnakTTO has completed 8 major projects, 4 Technical Support Trainings, more than 15 TTO-launch meetings, reached many academicians and industrialists in the region, and has a success rate of 87.5 percent. It is a large team that prepares quarterly e-bulletins (e-journals) and has written 4 feasibility reports. ”

After the opening, protocol and information speeches, 5 categories of award certificates were distributed to academicians whose project was approved at Şırnak University. These categories are;

Southeastern Anatolia Project(GAP)
The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey
Dicle Development Agency(DİKA)
Scientific Research Projects(BAP)
Ministry and European Union Projects.

The program ended after award documents and collective photo shoots.
